『GRAVITY Christmas Installation Art 2015』
今年、ラフォーレ原宿（BATOMA CHRISTMAS）にて発表した循環型クリスマス演出のご紹介。
欧米のクリスマスマーケットを再現した会場全体を10種類のモミ、トーヒ、ヒバ等の針葉樹にてデコレーション。
本物の植物が持つ「香り」や「色」「形」によって、クリスマスの楽しい思い出を想起してもらえるよう、あたたかいクリスマス演出を心掛けました。
従来、シーズン終了後のクリスマス資材は、廃棄されることが多く、ゴミとして取り扱われておりましたが、GRAVITYでは、針葉樹をチップ化し、『エッシェンシャルオイル』へのマテリアルリサイクルを開始しました。
This year’s Christmas decoration at Laforet Harajuku by GRAVITY.We decorated the entire site as an image of European Christmas market, with ten kinds of conifers such as cypress or fir trees. We tried to create the warm atmosphere and used real plants so that their smell, colors, shapes reminds visitor’s special memories of Christmas. These once-used materials for Christmas have been wasted after the season; however, we are managed create the cyclical process by using them as “essential oil” after used.
